Recall & Cleanup

Recall allows you to terminate a campaign and clean up all child issues.

When to Recall

Use Recall when:

  • Campaign is no longer needed
  • Initiative was cancelled
  • Need to start fresh with different scope

Recall Process

  1. Open the parent issue
  2. Click Recall Campaign in the Armada panel
  3. Confirm the action

What Happens

Armada attempts to clean up each child issue:

Can delete issueIssue is deleted
Cannot deleteIssue is closed/transitioned
Cannot closeIssue is unlinked from parent

Audit Trail

Recall creates an audit comment on the parent issue documenting:

  • Who initiated the recall
  • When it was performed
  • Results for each child issue

Caution

Consider these alternatives:

  • Close individual issues instead of recall
  • Archive the campaign for historical reference
