Campaign Launch

The Launch feature creates child issues across your selected teams in a single operation.

Launch Process

  1. Open the parent issue
  2. Click Launch Campaign in the Armada panel
  3. Select target teams from your fleet
  4. Review the summary
  5. Click Launch

What Gets Created

For each selected team, Armada creates:

  • An issue in the team’s project
  • A link back to the parent issue
  • Initial status: “To Do”

The child issue includes:

  • Summary: Prefixed with team name
  • Description: Copied from parent
  • Issue type: Configured default (usually Task)

Rollback on Failure

If any issues fail to create, Armada:

  1. Stops the launch
  2. Deletes any partially created issues
  3. Reports which teams failed and why

This ensures you never have a partially launched campaign.

Launch Limits

  • Maximum 100 teams per launch
  • Governed by approval threshold (if configured)
  • Rate limited to prevent API overload

Post-Launch

After launch:

  • Campaign state is saved to the parent issue
  • Status tracking begins automatically
  • You can monitor progress in the Armada panel
