Campaign Launch
The Launch feature creates child issues across your selected teams in a single operation.
Launch Process
- Open the parent issue
- Click Launch Campaign in the Armada panel
- Select target teams from your fleet
- Review the summary
- Click Launch
What Gets Created
For each selected team, Armada creates:
- An issue in the team’s project
- A link back to the parent issue
- Initial status: “To Do”
The child issue includes:
- Summary: Prefixed with team name
- Description: Copied from parent
- Issue type: Configured default (usually Task)
Rollback on Failure
If any issues fail to create, Armada:
- Stops the launch
- Deletes any partially created issues
- Reports which teams failed and why
This ensures you never have a partially launched campaign.
Launch Limits
- Maximum 100 teams per launch
- Governed by approval threshold (if configured)
- Rate limited to prevent API overload
Post-Launch
After launch:
- Campaign state is saved to the parent issue
- Status tracking begins automatically
- You can monitor progress in the Armada panel
